The climate in Cairo, the capital of the Arab Republic of Egypt, is a semi-tropical desert climate, characterized by moderate winter seasons and generally a warm and sunny summer, with temperatures ranging from approximately 10 to 35 degrees Celsius, rarely less than 7 degrees Celsius, or more than 38.8 degrees Celsius, and the fact that the city is located on the Nile River and is close to cultivated streams and fields, increasing relative humidity in the atmosphere, and the hot winds of the desert in the spring with sand and dust; this in turn raises the temperature significantly; it may exceed 40 degrees Celsius.

The most important information on different seasons is as follows:
Summer: The summer runs from mid-May to mid-September, and summer temperatures generally rise, gradually falling closer to the surrounding areas of the Mediterranean coast. Although the day is burning, the night is mildly hot, and summer in Cairo is humid because of the water bodies that bind the city, with the heat peaking in August.
Winter: The winter runs from December to February, and the weather is generally colder in Egypt, where there is severe cold in landlocked areas, but for Cairo, because of its proximity to coastal areas, it is warmer than others in this season, and temperatures are usually around 20 degrees Celsius, yet there can be days of lower temperatures, especially when cold air blocks come from Eastern Europe, and rainfall and snow can be small and rare, especially snow.
Spring: Spring from March to mid-May, spring is a transition between two different seasons of heat and climate, where the cold begins to decline and is replaced by a sense of warmth, but the night is a little cold, but the spring climate may be affected when temperatures rise to above 40 degrees, which is more hot than the summer itself.
Autumn: It runs from mid-September to November, and it’s hot, but not so much, but at the beginning of October some hot days may come, but then it’s gradually more moderate.
